About Sad Girl Studio
Sad Girl Studio exists for neurodivergent brains and all the weirdness that comes with being a person.
I’m a neurodivergent person who has spent an unreasonable amount of my life trying to figure out how to be a functional human. I’m autistic, I have an anxiety disorder, and I live with bipolar II, so my brain has never been particularly interested in doing things the way it’s supposed to.
I have bought so many planners. Beautiful planners. Very organized planners. Planners made for a version of me who wakes up at 6 a.m., drinks a glass of water, has a morning routine, and apparently knows what she’s doing next Thursday.
I am not her.
My capacity changes. My brain changes. Some days I can take on the world, and some days feeding myself and answering an email are legitimately enough. I need structure, but I also need somewhere for the side quests, the things I will absolutely forget, the appointments I made six months ago, the sudden burst of motivation at 11 p.m., and the days when none of it is happening.
Eventually I stopped trying to find the perfect system and started making things that actually work with the brain I have.
That’s Sad Girl Studio.
I make planners, stickers, and stationery, and I collect other useful little things I genuinely love having around. Things that make getting through the day a little easier, a little more enjoyable, or at least slightly less terrible. Things that leave room for the mess, help you remember what your brain absolutely will not, and don’t assume the goal is to optimize every waking moment of your existence.
There is absolutely no expectation here that you become a whole new person just because you bought a planner.
I still don't know what I'm doing next Thursday, but at least now I have somewhere to write it down.

What Matters Here
Designed for Neurodivergent Brains
Radical Self-Compassion
How It Should Feel
Stationery, planners, and tiny tools that make room for the way your brain actually works instead of trying to force you into systems that were never built for you.
No toxic productivity, no “fix yourself first” energy, just gentle support for messy, fluctuating capacity and real-life feelings.
Real, honest support for the in-between days, when you’re not thriving, not falling apart, just doing what you can and needing that to be enough.

From the Founder
I built Sad Girl Studio because my brain never fits into neat boxes, color-coded calendars, or “one-size-fits-all” systems. If your days swing between hyperfocus and “I can’t even open my email,” you’re not broken, and you’re not alone.
Think of this space as a small, gentle corner of the internet where your brain is allowed to be exactly what it is. Nothing here promises to fix you. But maybe it can sit beside you while you figure out how to get through today, on your terms. If you ever want tools that make room for your brain instead of fighting it, you can find them in the shop.
